A recent cover story of the Kansas City Star Magazine features Gallup Map’s transition from providing the most trusted local street atlas, showing our customers how to get from point A to point B, to producing artful map displays that symbolically show customers where they’ve been and how far they’ve come. Gallup Map proudly creates reproductions of vintage, antique, and historical maps; custom decorative lake maps from the Kansas City region; and “honor maps” that show the country or city of a family’s ancestry—all enhanced and preserved through our mounting, laminating, and framing services.

Honor Maps

Our latest product offering is our Honor Map series. These maps honor your ancestor who came to America for the promise of a better life. These are vintage maps of their country of origin which can be personalized to display your ancestor’s name and year they came to America. When displayed in your home, this map is not only an art piece and conversation starter, it is a family heirloom that will be handed down for generations to come.

We recently began reproducing maps from our archive collection of original hand-drawn maps of the Kansas City area. These maps include historic maps of Kansas City, regional county ownership maps featuring oil and gas wells, state highway maps when the roads were named before the switch to numbered roads in 1926, railroad maps, and much more.
